Are you feeling stuck, burned out in your career, or struggling to figure out what you want your “next chapter” in life to be? Well, I’m all ears! I bring warmth, authenticity and a chill vibe to the therapy space. Sessions are geared towards helping put you in the driver’s seat and in control of your own life. I invite you to take the next step toward changing your life within a judgment free space.
As a therapist, I take into consideration biological, psychological, and social aspects of my clients in order to provide a holistic approach. I focus on the eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social, and spiritual.
I provide individual counseling to children, teens, and adults who may need support with life transitions, navigating change, relationships, anxiety, and depression. I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), which are beneficial for increasing motivation to identify, achieve and sustain desired behavioral changes.

A bit about me:
I am a North Carolina native, and prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in education for 18 years. I’ve always loved helping people learn, regardless of whether it is teaching an academic skill or a coping skill. There’s no better feeling than watching someone have an “aha” moment.
I consider myself to be a lifelong learner, and I enjoy any moments I have to be immersed in nature. I appreciate the simple things in life, such as spending time with my family, savoring a cup of coffee, and diving into a non-fiction book.
My journey to become a therapist began with my own personal healing along the road to self-discovery. I look forward to helping you take steps towards defining your own story as well!
