There are countless reasons people seek out therapy, and I’m grateful that some curious part of you led you here today. I support clients around an array of issues including anxiety, depression, and PTSD/CPTSD. My forte is working with people pleasers, chronic overthinkers, HSP's, burned out helpers…those of you with 5+ self-help books on your nightstand. I also love working with clients who find themselves repeating the same old patterns in relationships and want to learn healthier ways of connecting to others.
Your mind and body have an incredible capacity for healing—not just coping. I'm trained and certified in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), a highly effective therapy model that helps you effectively uproot limiting, old beliefs and make peace with distressing past experiences so they no longer control your present. I also integrate mindful self-compassion skills into my work with clients and am IFS-informed (Internal Family Systems).

A bit about me:
I’m an NC native and grew up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I recently moved to Winston-Salem, but previously lived in Wilmington for 15 years. I am a daily Wordle solver, podcast enthusiast, gardener and vegetarian. I am childfree by choice; however, I am the mom of a sweet & goofy dog named Tater whom you may occasionally hear snoring under my office chair.
I very much consider it an honor to hold space for others as they make sense of the confusing, beautiful, painful, and mundane experiences of life.
